Religious Education Wants You!
John is looking for parishioners who are able to serve just 1-3 hours per week in the Religious Education Program. If you might respond, "But I don't know my Catechism very well" or something like it, not to worry! The Religious Education Program is designed specifically to facilitate for adults both a better understanding of Scripture, Tradition, Saints, and the Catechism, while also fulfilling the duty we share as a parish "family" to educate our youth. Everybody wins! This year, for instance, we'll really be focusing on making church truly come alive in the home through traditions, customs, and celebrations that give greater substance and meaning to truly becoming Jesus' own disciples in the "domestic church."
Also, the Religious Education Program cannot adequately function without your help! We have several catechists already signed-up for this Fall, but need several more. Your opportunity to find out more about the program, ask questions, and how you might be able to "plug-in" happens this Tuesday, July 29th, over at St. Mary of Pine Bluff. You are invited to participate in Mass (5:15pm), Adoration (5:45-6:45pm) and then stay for the Inservice in the Narthex at 7:00pm. Come check out how you can live, learn, and re-kindle your spirit through Religious Education!

Prayers Needed - Steubenville North Youth Conference
On August 1-3 several youth from St. Ignatius will be traveling via tourbus up to St. Paul/Minneapolis to attend an outstanding Catholic youth conference sponsored by Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio (a great school, if you're thinking about college!). Please pray for them and for our leaders, that they may truly meet the Risen Christ and welcome the gift of his Holy Spirit in their lives. We will be going with some 40 others from Immaculate Conception in Boscobel this year.
